Thailand's sachet cream market is forecast at 12.7 billion baht in 2026: how should skincare shops sell with photos?

Kasikorn Research Center forecasts that Thailand's sachet cream market will be worth 12.7 billion baht in 2026, up 4% from an estimated 12.2 billion baht in 2025, as Marketeer reported on 5 August 2026. The market is still growing, but more slowly than in earlier years. A shop selling small items like these online needs its photos to show, before the customer buys, how small the real item is and what is written on the sachet.

Numbers a skincare shop should know

  • Thai brands' share · more than 82% of the sachet cream market, according to Kasikorn Research Center

  • Why brands make sachets · a way for new customers to try the product, as Marketeer reports

  • Online order size · an executive at the beauty retailer All About You told THE STANDARD that its online orders average about 500 baht each and tend to be for one item at a time; the figure covers all its online orders, and the report doesn't mention sachets

  • 9.9 campaign · Brand Buffet reports that Shopee saw sales in its beauty and personal care category grow as much as 7.5 times, driven by new products from Thai beauty (“T-Beauty”) brands, but the report does not say what the growth is compared with

What a skincare shop should do with its photos

If customers tend to buy one item at a time, the photos of that item have to answer on their own what the customer gets, how big it is and how to use it. Order the photos in your listing like this.

  1. First photo: the whole sachet from the front, with the label sharp enough to read the product name.

  2. Second photo: the real sachet in a hand, or next to something everyone knows the size of, such as a coin, so the customer sees at once how small it is.

  3. Third photo: the back, so the amount and directions can be read. If you sell by the box, also show how many sachets are inside.

If you use AI images, the product's size in the image is not a measured size, because the image is newly generated. So you still need a real photo of the sachet in a hand, and small lettering on the label can come out wrong: zoom in on every image before you list it.

AI photos of someone holding the product

Plien Roob is our own site. If you sell full-size products alongside trial sachets, its Product Showcase tool makes photos of a model holding serum, a cream tube, a cream jar, lipstick or perfume, but it has no sachet category yet, and you shouldn't pick another category instead.

Frequently asked questions

How big is Thailand's sachet cream market in 2026?

Kasikorn Research Center forecasts that Thailand's sachet cream market will be worth 12.7 billion baht in 2026, up 4% from an estimated 12.2 billion baht in 2025. The market is still growing, but its growth rate is slower than in earlier years, and Thai brands hold more than 82% of it. Both figures come from a Marketeer report dated 5 August 2026 and are forecasts, not actual full-year sales.

How should I photograph sachet cream to sell online?

Take at least three photos. The first shows the whole sachet from the front with a readable label. The second shows the real sachet in a hand, or next to something everyone knows the size of, so the customer can see how small it is. The third shows the back, where the amount and directions can be read; if you sell by the box, also show how many sachets it holds. If you use AI images, zoom in on the label lettering in every one and don't use one in place of a real-size photo, because the size in an AI image is not a measured size. Label them as AI if the marketplace you sell on requires it.
