Image copyright, privacy, and what to watch out for — written to be readable without a law degree
This page is not legal advice. We are not lawyers. What follows is (a) what our system actually does, which can be verified in the software itself, and (b) general cautions. If your situation carries real risk, please consult a lawyer.
IllustrationThe images you create are yours
We claim no ownership over the images you generate with the system.
Every image is stored in your shop's private library, never mixed with other accounts — and goes on a public page only if you turn that on yourself.
Free plan images carry our watermark baked into the file itself, except the first image each account generates successfully. It is not merely overlaid on screen, so it cannot be removed — upgrading is what gives you every file without a watermark.
Images you upload must be yours, or yours to use
🔴 Do not upload images carrying another site's watermark. On 12 Aug 2026 we confirmed the AI copies that watermark into the result, leaving someone else's logo on an image you cannot sell.
Images saved from other websites usually belong to a photographer or a brand, not to you — even if you sell the identical product.
Photos you took yourself are the safest, and they also produce the best results.
Branded products
The system does not block branded products, and the instructions we send the AI forbid inventing brand tags or logos that are not in the source image.
But using an AI-generated image in place of a real product photograph may lead buyers to believe it came from the brand — which is a separate matter from selling authentic goods.
⚠️ This point has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If branded goods are your main business, get advice first.
Photos of people's faces
Uploading a photo of a person as a reference is open, and every upload must pass an automatic age check before it enters your library.
Fail the check and the image is quarantined — it never enters the library and cannot be used to generate anything. If the check itself fails to run, that also counts as a fail; nothing slips through.
You must confirm a consent statement before uploading. We store the full text with a timestamp as evidence, and the shop owner can export it as a file from Settings.
If you use your own model's photo, it must be someone who consented to this kind of use.
Never use someone else's face without permission, no matter where the image came from.
Never upload images of children, in any upload slot or for any purpose.
Personal data — what the system does today
Embedded file metadata (EXIF) is stripped from every upload, including GPS coordinates your phone adds.
Files sit in private storage with no public address; each view uses a time-limited link.
🔴 Images you delete disappear from your library immediately, but the underlying file remains in storage — there is no scheduled permanent deletion yet.
Analytics and cookies
We count visitors with a tool that uses no cookies and holds nothing that identifies you.
If you arrive from an ad link, we remember which channel sent you (for example facebook) so we can tell which ads work — the channel name only, never who you are.
Only your first visit is recorded, kept in your browser for 30 days. If you sign up within that window, the channel name is saved with your shop account.
We do not store IP addresses, and we do not store the words you searched before arriving — only the domain name that sent you.
Meta (Facebook) cookies run only if you accept them in the banner. Decline and every part of the site works exactly the same.
Disclosing that an image was made by AI
Our database records which images were generated by AI.
🔴 We have not yet embedded a standard marker (C2PA) into the files, so recipients cannot verify it from the file alone.
Some selling platforms are introducing AI-disclosure rules — check the rules of the platform you use.
