About us

Plien Roob did not start with someone wanting to build an AI company. It started with someone who spent ten years in front of the camera, and one day wondered whether product photography could be made cheaper.

What Plien Roob is

Plien Roob (เปลี่ยนรูป) is an AI product photography platform for Thai online sellers. It turns a shop's own product photo into a photo of a model wearing, holding or using that product, with no prompt writing anywhere in the product. Upload one product photo, tap to choose a model, pose and scene, and the result is ready for Shopee, TikTok Shop or your page. It works for clothing, shoes and bags, and for products like perfume, skincare and food. Start free with 10 credits, no card required.

Ten years in this industry

I worked as a model for 10 years — runway, clothing shoots, and all kinds of fashion work.

Later I opened a photography studio that rents out space, and I am someone who enjoys taking photos of other people too.

So I have stood in front of the camera, behind it, and on the side that has to charge for studio hours — the same shoot seen from three angles.

I know what one shoot really costs

The model, the studio, the photographer — together that is a sum nobody pays often.

In my experience you have to wait until you have 20–40 outfits stockpiled before a shoot is worth booking, and then the day itself is a sprint: the model changes outfits back to back, the photographer shoots continuously, all to squeeze the most work out of one paid session.

A shop that gets a few new items at a time has almost no way to get photos like that.

Then I got interested in AI

I taught myself from YouTube, free, for a long time, until I got serious enough to run a local LLM of my own for image and video editing.

But I was a complete beginner, and what I found was that it was far harder than I expected — which model to use, how to write the workflow, how to adjust the lighting, the camera angle, the scene.

It is not something a person without a technical background can simply sit down and do.

One question that became Plien Roob

What if there were an AI where you type no prompt at all, and still get a result you are happy with and can actually use?

I went looking for anyone already doing this, and studied how they did it — but in the end every one of them still required you to write a prompt.

And when I surveyed the Thai market, I could not find anyone doing it at all. That was the spark.

The result: a woman with a pink bob and glasses, in a white T-shirt and cream trousers, standing in a hall with white moulded walls and a herringbone wooden floor, holding the same bag by its orange handles in front of her at hip height, the long strap over her shoulder and the front of the bag with its small badge facing the cameraOur result

Why I actually built it

If this helps small shops and independent sellers cut the cost of their marketing images, they keep more profit, produce more work, and have room for more ideas.

So I set it as a challenge to myself: build this thing — with no prior experience in AI, and without knowing how to write a single line of code.

I kept at it until I had built the thing I wanted to use myself.

One thing I have decided not to do

I will not make you spend money without knowing what you are spending it on.

The screen tells you exactly how many credits each image costs, and what one credit works out to, so you can do the maths before you press generate.

That way you pay only for what you actually need, instead of buying a package up front and hoping afterwards that it was worth it.

Where this goes next

I see Plien Roob becoming a name people in the fashion industry know.

And I am certainly not going to stop building it — my head is full of features I want to make. I hope you will follow along.

I hope it helps you too.
